It’s all going to plan

Well what can I say! All my debt from my credit cards have been paid off and now working in a new job that I really enjoy I look like I’m securely on track for a well earned holiday by the end of the year. Tossing up between Los Angeles, Canada or New Zealand.

LA here I come!

Ok, well not just yet as I have not booked any ticket but it’s still in the pipeline. Airfare prices from Melbourne to Los Angeles are around the $600 mark so I think that is quite reasonable. I will decide whether to go or not by the end of this month.

Be careful with weights around bare feet!

The other day I was doing my normal routine of bench press, bicep and tricep curls. Thinking I had the ends of the dumbells properly screwed on tight I began pumping the biceps and all of a sudden one by one the weights flew off the bar and as I moved quickly to move my feet out of the way it seemed not quick enough as one of the heavy weights landed on the end of my left big toe creating a compound fracture breaking it into 4 pieces. Went to the doctor for x-rays and scanned a copy for you to see below. So now I’m on crutches, not sure for how long but the doctor said I won’t be walking properly for atleast 6 weeks. Already missed one week of work because of it but this week coming up I’ll be on light duties, will see how that goes. Have been watching lots of movies lately just setting on the couch with my foot up in the air. AtleastĀ  I can now keep up to date with all the latest movies.

As soon as my gym membership ran out my idea was to try to save money so I thought I would wait until the new gym in my area would open up. Instead, I ended up going out every night of the week. While having loads of fun I was of course causing harm to my my body so today is a new start! Let the detox begin!

Feeling Positive

There is a lot to look up to right now, have been on a party/alcohol detox for just over 16 days now and am feeling great besides the flu symtoms I am feeling. I have decided to not go for the 30 days as I thought first thought I would go for rather I am targeting 50 day detox so I am 100% determined and focused.

I have noticed I have lost weight and am getting lean and trim with the exercises I have been performing along with the kick boxing I do in the evenings.
