Be careful with weights around bare feet!

The other day I was doing my normal routine of bench press, bicep and tricep curls. Thinking I had the ends of the dumbells properly screwed on tight I began pumping the biceps and all of a sudden one by one the weights flew off the bar and as I moved quickly to move my feet out of the way it seemed not quick enough as one of the heavy weights landed on the end of my left big toe creating a compound fracture breaking it into 4 pieces. Went to the doctor for x-rays and scanned a copy for you to see below. So now I’m on crutches, not sure for how long but the doctor said I won’t be walking properly for atleast 6 weeks. Already missed one week of work because of it but this week coming up I’ll be on light duties, will see how that goes. Have been watching lots of movies lately just setting on the couch with my foot up in the air. AtleastĀ  I can now keep up to date with all the latest movies.
